Welcome
“It’s interesting-most people think about therapy as something that involves going in and undoing what’s happened. But whatever your past experiences created in your brain, the associations exist and you can’t just delete them. You can’t get rid of the past.
Therapy is building a better alternative, a new default. And that takes repetition, and time, honestly, it works best if someone understands how the brain changes. This is why understanding how trauma impacts our health is essential for everyone.”

MY EXPERIENCE
I am a qualified Senior Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Therapist, registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), British Psychological Society (BPS) and EMDR Academy. My mission as a Clinical Psychologist is to provide compassionate, evidence-based and client-centred care. I am committed to helping individuals overcome life’s challenges, enhance their mental well-being and achieve their full potential.

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist I am trained in several therapeutic/psychological models such as Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (Level 2), Compassion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Autism Assessments, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness, allowing me to offer a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to meet your needs.

My experience is embedded in trauma informed approaches, and I have over 5 years’ experience working with attachment difficulties and trauma, specifically childhood trauma, providing me with advanced knowledge in attachment and trauma work.

I currently work with children and young people within the care system and their families. Through this work I facilitate therapeutic parenting groups, empowering parents to nurture healthier family dynamics. I also provide consultations to parents and carers experiencing difficulties with their young people, professionals such as social workers, residential units, alongside one-to-one interventions with children, young people, and young adults.
